10/18
Well, I missed Wednesday which included a demo for the 6th graders on clay (5th period) and color mixing (6th and 7th period) but because I have experience in both (I was a painting major for my BFA and took several ceramics classes while in my BFA) I was able to understand what was going on. Some of the 8th graders finnished their glazing, most still needed to work on it, thoes that finnished continued on a previous project. Bryce combines units when working with clay to make sure the clay has plenty of drying and firing and cooling time in the kiln, for this one he did clay, while it dried and fired, did a lesson on abstract painting, when the clay cooled, did a demo on glazing (when I came in), now that most everyone is done glazing, he's continuing the abstacting. 7th grade is finnishing up their scuptures, by the end of the period there is only one person still working on theirs. The rest work on detailed perspective drawings.
